About Richardson Repair Service

Elkhart rests at the foot of Elkhart Hill, a wooded rise that lifts out of the Logan County prairie like a green island, and from its flanks the fields run off toward a far, level horizon. Richardson Repair Service offers lawn care in this small village, where yards are roomy and the grass answers every warm rain with a growth spurt. The aim is plain and pleasing: mowing lines that run true and edges trimmed clean against the sidewalk. Late in August, when the corn has gone gold at the tassel and evening light slants long across the village, a just-mown lawn in Elkhart catches it like a tablecloth shaken out. It is modest work, done with care, in a place that rewards it.
