About Exquisite-Scapes, Inc.

Elizabeth sits in the unglaciated hill country of Jo Daviess County, where the roads bend with the land and driveways run at angles the flatlands never see. Exquisite-Scapes, Inc. takes both halves of that year: mowing and yard upkeep while the ridges are green and the Apple River runs low under the bridges, then plowing and salting when the wind comes hard across the open tops. Grading a lawn on a slope and clearing a steep drive in February pose the same question — where does the water go, and where does it end up. The answer shows in an even cut in June and in a bare, gritted apron on a black winter morning. It is good work to be doing in a valley this handsome.
