About Brandon Bussan Landscaping & Tree Service

In Elizabeth the land refuses to lie flat: this is the Driftless corner of Jo Daviess County, which the last glaciers passed by, leaving ridges, ravines and driveways that tilt toward the sky. Brandon Bussan Landscaping & Tree Service clears snow in the village, and on ground like this every slope has to be read before the work begins. Winter comes hard over the hills along Route 20, with wind that carves drifts against fences and barn walls. The crew opens up driveways and stairs so a steep climb to the road becomes an easy stroll again. When the sun breaks out over white hilltops after a storm, a cleared lane curving down through the snow looks like a pencil line on fresh paper.
