About Winter Services - Elgin, IL

At three in the morning the wind out past Randall Road has miles of open field to gather itself before it ever reaches an Elgin driveway. Winter Services - Elgin, IL is made for that hour and that hour only: plowing, shoveling, salting. Headlights swing across a lot, the blade goes down, and by the time the sky goes the color of old nickel above the rooftops the pavement is black again. Drifts rebuild themselves along fence lines out here, so the work is often another pass, and then another. A cleared lot at daybreak needs no explaining — the cars simply arrive, and nobody has to think about it.
