Mowing a town well is partly a map problem. Strategic lawn care runs the east-side streets toward Poplar Creek on a set rotation, so every yard gets cut on its own day and no lawn ever gets ahead of the blade. Height comes up in the dry heat of July and drops back down through the soft weeks of May and September; edges get redrawn the moment a walk starts to disappear. It is a plan, kept, week after week, which is why the lawns on the route look the same in August as they did in June. Nothing dramatic about it. Just a season that stays under control.
