About Gascas Enterprises Inc.
Out past the edge of town along Route 20 the fields run flat to the horizon, and in a blowing snow the road and the field become one white thing. Gascas Enterprises Inc. works that western stretch, where drifting does more damage than accumulation and a driveway can close twice in an afternoon. The job out there is persistence: back through the route, widen the cut, push the banks farther out so the next storm has somewhere to land. When it finally clears, the drives are open and the pavement is dark and drying. Snow plowing and ice control for Elgin, Hampshire, Burlington and Pingree Grove.
