Arctic Fox Snow Services

About Arctic Fox Snow Services

West of town, past Burnidge Forest Preserve, the land opens into old prairie and the wind has nothing left to lean on. Snow out there doesn't so much fall as travel, refilling a driveway an hour after it was cleared, and Arctic Fox Snow Services builds its routes around that stubborn fact — the exposed places get a second visit. There's something bracing about the first run at dawn: headlights on white, the blade throwing a curl of powder into the ditch. Salt at the walk, a wide clean turnaround, and a mailbox still standing when the wind quits. Plowing, shoveling and ice control for Elgin, Hampshire, Burlington and Gilberts.
