About Anson Landscape

Elgin grew up on both banks of the Fox River, and on a hard January morning the river breathes steam into the cold while snow lies deep on the hillside streets climbing away from it. Anson Landscape handles snow removal in this old watch-making city, where the slopes that give the Victorian neighborhoods their charm also turn a buried driveway into a real obstacle. After a storm moves through, the crew opens driveways and front walks so the day can start on bare pavement instead of drifts. There is real pride in a scraped edge laid clean against a white yard, the line straight as a ruler. With the whole city hushed and blue around it, that clear path to the street is the first good news of the day.
