About Adams landscaping

On Douglas Avenue the Victorians sit back behind deep front lawns, and those lawns ask for something in every month of the year. Adams landscaping keeps them through the green stretch — mowing, edging, and the leaf work that lands hard in October when the maples let go all at once. Then the calendar turns and the same driveways need a different machine: plow blade, shovel, salt at the front steps before anyone in the house is awake. Winter reaches Elgin on a west wind with no hills to slow it, and a cleared walk by six in the morning is its own kind of hospitality.
