Every July the flags go up along Main Street in Edwardsville and the whole downtown smells like cut grass and hot brick by mid-morning. Patriot Landscape works both ends of that calendar, mowing and edging and shaping landscaping while the town is green, then plowing drives and salting walks when February closes it back down. The warm-weather standard is simple: even height, defined beds, nothing left on the sidewalk. The cold-weather standard is earlier and colder: pavement showing, banks pushed back, a path to the front door wide enough to actually use. The town gets both from the same trucks, and there is a steady pride in that.
