Adams land and property management

About Adams land and property management

The South Fork of the Sangamon takes its slow way past Edinburg, and by January the whole valley goes the color of old paper. Adams land and property management works those weeks — plowing driveways, opening walks, spreading salt where the shade holds ice deep into the afternoon. Snow comes across the flat Christian County ground with the wind behind it and no particular regard for the clock. So the work happens at whatever hour it has to: headlights, a blade, the long push out toward the road. By first light the drive is clear and the day can start, which is the entire point of it.
