About A Cut Above Tree Service

East Peoria climbs the bluff up from the Illinois River, and on a December evening the lights along the levee throw color onto water that never quite freezes. A Cut Above Tree Service works those hillside lots — pruning the oaks and hackberries that hold a slope together, trimming limbs off a roof that sits under a bank of trees. On grades like these a removal is planned from the top down, sectioned and lowered so nothing gets away toward the house below. Storm damage cleanup on the bluff starts at the pavement, because a car at the bottom of a hill is going nowhere until the way out is open. Come summer the same trees pay it back with shade the whole street can feel.
