North of Peoria the land begins to fold, and Dunlap keeps to that gentler country where an old rail line has become a trail running through the trees. Green View mows the lawns along those roads — regular cuts, trimming around posts and beds, edges cut clean at the walk and drive, and the drive cleared of cuttings at the end. Peoria County rolls just enough to make a yard interesting: a slope to take with care, a low corner that holds dew until nine. Grass starts here in April and doesn't let up until the nights turn, so the week-to-week rhythm is the work, and the reward is a lawn with no bad weeks in it.
