About Midwest Landscaping Design & Tree Service Inc.

Maple Avenue earns its name in the second week of November, when the canopy comes down over the parkways in one long yellow week. Midwest Landscaping Design & Tree Service Inc. is out on those streets clearing it — leaf cleanup, the last cuts of the year, blowing out beds and curb lines until the lawn shows again. The rest of the calendar runs steadier: weekly mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives so the turf stops where it should. Downers Grove grew up under big trees, and a lawn here is always negotiating with shade and roots. Getting green out of that ground, year after year, is the interesting part of the work.
