About AK's Landscape LLC

Belmont Prairie still holds a remnant of the tallgrass that once ran unbroken west of here, and in September the big bluestem goes copper and stands taller than a person. AK's Landscape LLC works a few streets over, where the grass is shorter and the standards are different but the attention is the same. Mowing on a schedule, edges cut true, trimming around the mailbox post and the play set, then the blower until the drive is bare concrete again. Late in the year the route becomes leaves — oak leaves especially, which hang on stubbornly around Downers Grove and then come down all together. A lawn kept faithfully through a DuPage County year is a small, real accomplishment.
