About Scott's Countryside Landscpng

Out past the last streetlight, Dixon gives way to section roads and corn standing taller than a truck, and that is the countryside Scott's Countryside Landscpng spends its summer keeping in trim. Late August afternoons come with heat lifting off the blacktop and a haze sitting over the fields, and the mowing gets done anyway — lines laid down straight, the trimmer run around every fence post, mailbox and downspout. A lawn out here has nowhere to hide, because the wind opens the ground up to view from a quarter mile off, so the cut has to hold even all the way to the ditch line. By evening the air goes cool and green-smelling and the yard reads as one unbroken sheet from the road. That is the result worth driving out for.
