Goat Lawn Care

About Goat Lawn Care

There is no hill in DeKalb worth the name — the land runs flat and black to the horizon in every direction, which is a mercy for a mower and murder for anything trying to block the wind. Goat Lawn Care takes it yard by yard anyway: weekly mowing, trimmed fence lines, edged walks and drives, cleanups when a lawn gets shaggy. On this prairie the grass sprints in June and goes dry and brittle in August, so the cutting height changes with the month. The trick is mowing to what the turf can carry rather than to a number on a dial. Done that way, a yard here stays green deeper into summer than it has any business doing.
