CK Snowplowing and services

About CK Snowplowing and services

At three in the morning the wind comes off open fields with nothing to slow it, and the snow that fell an hour ago is already stacked against the driveways in long white ridges. That is the hour CK Snowplowing and services is out — plowing drives, opening lots, shoveling the walk to the door, laying salt where the ice sets up hard. DeKalb County storms don't end when the sky clears; the ground blizzard keeps rebuilding what you just cleared, so you go around again. There is a plain satisfaction in black pavement at sunrise with the bank squared off at the end of it. By the time the coffee is on, everybody gets where they are going.
