Irrigation Guys

About Irrigation Guys

At four on a January morning, a Deer Park snowfall makes almost no sound, piling onto the spruce boughs and smoothing over the long, curving driveways. Irrigation Guys are out in it, handling snow removal while the village sleeps so cars can roll out toward Rand Road before first light. A drive cleared down to blacktop with crisp, straight shoulders and a walk scraped dry are the whole point of the work. When the sun finally climbs over the white yards, the road is already within reach.
