About TLT Service LLC

Nothing stops the wind between here and the far side of the county — you can watch a weather front come across the flats by the Decatur airport a full half hour before it arrives. TLT Service LLC works under that big open sky year round, mowing, trimming and edging while the ground is green, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the same wind starts carrying snow instead of dust. Summer mornings begin early, before the humidity settles in; winter mornings begin earlier still, in the dark, with the lot lights on and the blade down. Both jobs come down to the same promise — arrive before the day does, and leave the place ready for it. The seasons out here are not subtle, and neither is the work.
