About Straight edge lawn care&snow

The name says it, and the sidewalks along Oakland Avenue prove it: a lawn is finished at its edges. Straight edge lawn care&snow cuts, trims and edges Decatur yards until the turf stops in one unbroken line against the walk, the drive, the mailbox post. Late in a June afternoon, with the sun dropping and the shadows stretching east across the flat, that edge stands up like something drawn with a ruler. The grass gets its weekly pass, the trimmer catches what the mower cannot reach, and the clippings go off the pavement instead of onto it. Small things, done the same way every time, are what make a block look cared for.
