Dahinda sits beside the Spoon River in Knox County, where the water winds between timbered banks and the valley holds the cold a little longer on winter mornings. Spoon River Landscape works this valley through both halves of the year, clearing snow from drives and walks after winter storms and returning in the growing months to mow, trim and keep lawns in shape. The river has been written into American poetry, and the place still carries a sense of story in its quiet roads and old trees.
