About Andres Mateo Landscaping

East of town the prairie opens the way it does almost nowhere else — Meadowbrook's grasses standing tall, the horizon one straight line broken only by a grain bin and a distant treeline. Andres Mateo Landscaping keeps lawns in that big country around Cunningham, mowing on a schedule the July heat keeps trying to outrun, trimming and edging until every border reads clean, and hauling off cleanups when the season turns. Champaign County black soil grows turf thick, and thick turf wants a sharp blade and a straight line. On a still summer evening, a freshly cut yard against that enormous sky is worth stopping the truck to look at. Cunningham, Urbana, Champaign, Savoy and St. Joseph are the working area.
