About Sheppard Landscaping

Cruger is a handful of houses set down in Woodford County farmground, the kind of place where the nearest streetlight is a yard light and the seasons arrive without ceremony. Sheppard Landscaping tends the lawns and beds out here, where every property runs right up against a field edge and the wind carries dust in spring and chaff in fall. Mowing follows the long shapes of the land; trimming closes it out around the outbuildings, the drive culverts, the old fence posts nobody ever pulled. Planting beds get built with that exposure in mind, because anything soft gets found out by the first open-country gale. Late June, grass cut and beds clean and the corn shoulder-high past the ditch, the whole yard looks like it belongs there.
