The Curb Appealers

About The Curb Appealers

In August the gravel roads around Crooked Creek send up a fine pale dust, the corn stands taller than a pickup's cab, and the heat sits heavy by midafternoon. The Curb Appealers do their lawn care with the view from the road in mind, mowing clean, trimming close along the mailbox post and the ditch line, and edging walks and drives until the whole front of a property snaps into focus. The name says it plainly: first impressions matter, and the craft is making a yard look cared for at forty miles an hour and at four feet. Even in the dog days, a well-cut lawn holds its shape. Pass one of their yards on a hazy evening and it stands out like a freshly pressed shirt.
