Creal Springs took its name from water coming up out of the ground, and the hills around it still run green and folded, oak and hickory closing over the roads in every direction. Absolute Green Lawn & Tree Care of Southern Illinois works those slopes and hollows — mowing and trimming lawns that rarely sit level, edging along gravel and blacktop, and clearing the yard debris a Williamson County storm leaves behind. Winter down here is a different animal than up north: it may hold off for weeks and then arrive as ice on a hill you still have to get down, so plowing and salting are done with the grade in mind.
