About Createscape

Somewhere around three in the morning, Cortland is nothing but streetlight and falling snow, and that is Createscape's hour. Plowing out here means reading drift lines — the way an open field will hand the wind a load of snow and lay it back down across a driveway in one long, stubborn ridge. The work is simple and exacting: push the drives and lots, clear the walks down to the concrete, put salt where the ice will try to set. By first light the pavement is dark and wet and the town goes about its Tuesday without thinking twice about it. That is the whole idea.
