About J Jacobs Inc.

Congerville sits on the high ground between the Mackinaw timber and the Woodford County fields, a village small enough that you can watch weather coming for twenty minutes before it arrives. J Jacobs Inc. works both ends of that view. Warm months mean mowing and trimming the village yards and the farmstead lawns strung out along the blacktop toward Goodfield and Eureka; cold months mean a blade against the drifts that build wherever a fencerow slows the wind. Central Illinois does not do gentle transitions, and one week can hand over a hard freeze and a thaw both. The work stays steady through it: grass kept even in July, drives kept open in January, the same properties looked after all the way around the calendar.
