About Ritzel Lawn Care, Inc.

The first frost in Columbia usually finds the low ground first — park lawns and ballfields silver at seven in the morning while the bluff woods above are still holding their color. Ritzel Lawn Care, Inc. is out through that season, taking the last cuts of the year and then the clearing, leaves lifted off the turf so the grass goes into winter able to breathe. The rest of the calendar is the ordinary good work: mowing on a weekly turn, trimming at the margins, a sharp line where lawn stops and pavement starts. Monroe County grows a heavy summer lawn, and staying with it takes showing up. Every week, the same yards, looking the way they ought to.
