About Turf Police

Every neighborhood has the one yard that keeps the rest of the block honest — edges cut arrow-straight, no grass creeping over the sidewalk seam, nothing ragged along the fence. That is the standard being kept here, one Collinsville lawn at a time, through a river-valley summer that lets weeds get ambitious in a hurry. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup, done close enough that the border between lawn and concrete is a line rather than a suggestion. Warm nights and heavy humidity will grow a yard crooked if nobody is watching it. Somebody is watching it.
