About Blue Spruce Tree Care & Construction Inc.

Coal City grew over the old workings, and the strip-mine lakes south of town still hold that shape under a rim of cottonwood and willow. Blue Spruce Tree Care & Construction Inc. works the yards above ground — pruning spruce and maple, trimming the limbs that reach for a garage roof, taking down whatever the last dry summer finished off. Grundy County knows what a real storm can do, so the cleanup is treated with respect: limbs cut and carried, the drive opened, the debris off the grass before it settles in. There is satisfaction in a big removal that leaves the lawn unmarked and the trunk simply gone. Then a yard is a yard again, which is all anybody wanted.
