S & M PLOW CORP

About S & M PLOW CORP

Out where the Calumet River bends toward the lake, the land goes flat and industrial — wide yards, truck gates, and a wind with nothing to slow it between Wolf Lake and the Skyway. S & M PLOW CORP plows that kind of ground, the big open lots and access drives that have to be clear before a shift starts, then salts once the pavement shows. Snow crossing open water arrives with an edge on it here, and drifts will rebuild across a lot twice in a single night. So the route comes back around, and around again, until it holds. There is pride in a gate that opens on time in the middle of a storm.
