About Ray & Rafa Lawncare

Wet March snow is the heaviest thing this city hands out — it clings to the shovel, packs onto the stairs, and turns a two-flat's front steps into something to be careful about. Ray & Rafa Lawncare works those steps and the walks below them, plus the drives and gangways, clearing down to the surface and salting so the afternoon melt does not refreeze at dusk. Snow this late in the season is already half water; the sun has strength again, the piles shrink fast, and by evening the gutters are running. Still, between the storm and the thaw somebody has to make the path safe, and that is the job. The clearest sign of it is a set of clean stairs with a handrail you can actually reach.
