About MP Snow Service,LLC

Two in the morning under a Chicago viaduct, salt trucks growling somewhere over on the arterial, an L train rattling past with nobody aboard: that is the shift MP Snow Service, LLC keeps. Plowing runs in loops, drives and lots opened once and then again after the wind and the second band have had their say. Shovels finish what the blade cannot reach, and ice melt goes on the steps, the landing and the sidewalk out front. The measure of a night like that is the neighbor at seven who steps out onto bare concrete and never learns how long it took. Then the route starts over.
