About Glass Grass Landscaping

Ride the Bloomingdale Trail on a June evening and the city below turns into a mosaic of back yards — postage stamps of turf, some ragged, some cut so evenly they hold the low light like water. Glass Grass Landscaping is one reason a share of them look the second way. Mowing, edging along walks and garage slabs, trimming where fence posts crowd in, and the cleanups that clear a Logan Square yard of maple keys in spring and of everything else come November. The boulevard blocks here were laid out with grass in mind, wide medians and parkway trees the whole length of Palmer Square, and an even lawn simply belongs to that pattern. It is small work, block by block, and it changes how a street feels to walk down.
