About Beverly Companies

Urbs in Horto, a city in a garden, is the motto Chicago chose for itself, and on a soft May morning with the lilacs open it is easy to believe. Beverly Companies tends that garden lawn by lawn, mowing and edging Chicago yards. Dew still beads the grass when the first passes go down, and the stripes come up clean and even behind the mower. Edges get trimmed tight to the walk so the green looks drawn rather than grown. It is a hopeful kind of work, helping a city of brick and steel keep its promise of green.
