Milwaukee Avenue runs on a slant through the Northwest Side, an old plank road that never agreed to the grid, and the neighborhoods along it wear that angle in every odd-shaped yard. Bermudez Landscaping and snow removal takes those corners as they come — mowing, edging, trimming, planting and bed work while things are growing, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the pavement goes hard. October is the hinge: leaves out one week, the first salt run the next. Nothing about the changeover is dramatic, just equipment swapped and the route driven again.
