About Axis Lawn Management, INC

Everything in this city is counted from a single corner downtown, eight blocks to the mile in every direction, and Axis Lawn Management, INC works that grid the way a surveyor would. Mowing runs get laid out street by street, edging follows the lines the city already drew, trimming finishes the corners a deck can't reach. There is an order to a Chicago block — same setback, same parkway tree, same rectangle of green — and a lawn cut to that rhythm makes an entire row look intentional. In high summer the crew starts early enough to beat the heat coming off the pavement. By late afternoon the shade of the lindens falls across turf mowed in clean parallel bands.
