South Suburban Snow Removal & Landscaping

About South Suburban Snow Removal & Landscaping

The snow that reaches Chicago Ridge usually comes sideways, hauled in on a wind that has crossed the Cal-Sag lowland with nothing to slow it. South Suburban Snow Removal & Landscaping works the hours nobody else wants — two in the morning, the streetlights orange through the fall, a freight line somewhere off south sounding its horn. Plows push the drives down to hard ground, blowers and shovels open the walkways, and salt goes where the melt will refreeze before dawn. By the time the block's first cars back out, the work looks like it never happened, and that is the entire point. Seasonal routes run all winter across the southwest suburbs.
