Chewy's Trees and Landscaping

About Chewy's Trees and Landscaping

The older streets in Chatham are roofed in shade — big maples and oaks put in the ground by people who knew they would never sit under them. Chewy's Trees and Landscaping works beneath that canopy through the growing months, mowing, trimming and edging around root flares and old stone, keeping turf even where the light comes down patchy. September brings the first honest cool, and after that the work shifts toward snow: drives opened, walks cleared, ice treated where the shade keeps it hanging on the longest. Shaded ground freezes first and lets go last, which is worth knowing before you start pushing. The trees set the terms in this town, and the work fits itself around them.
