About Andy Shutt Property Maintenance

Snow in Chatham does not simply fall; it travels. A north wind lifts it off the open fields and sets it back down in a hard drift across a driveway, three feet deep in one place and bare pavement six feet over. Andy Shutt Property Maintenance reads those drifts for a living — plowing, clearing walks, and treating the ice a drift leaves behind once it goes. A January morning here can mean going back for the second cut the wind makes an hour later, and going back again if it needs it. The measure of the work is simple: you should be able to leave for the day without giving it a thought.
