About Top Notch lawn care

September mornings in Champaign arrive cool and blue, and the grass — which spent August sulking — comes roaring back for one more act. Top Notch lawn care rides that out: mowing while the growth lasts, trimming the fence lines, edging the walks, and shifting into leaf work as the maples begin to let go. The deep ground in this county makes for a lawn that answers to attention, and autumn is when that attention shows most plainly. The last cut of the year is a good one to be present for, the yard flat and green under a low sun with the whole street smelling like fall. Then it rests, and the work picks up again with the first warm week.
