About Happy Green Construction

South of Champaign, past Savoy, the land opens so completely that you can watch weather coming for twenty minutes before it reaches you. When it arrives as snow it does not stay put — it travels, and it stacks against every driveway, every approach, every lot entrance in its path. Happy Green Construction does the moving: plowing, clearing the walks, and putting salt where the ice keeps trying to reform. Wind is the real adversary out here rather than accumulation, so the route gets run again once the blowing settles down. There is a plain kind of pride in an approach opened wide enough that nobody has to think about it.
