About Brown Woods & Associates Inc.

West of downtown, the older streets around Hessel Park hold their shade all summer, and the grass under those maples grows in a slow, even green that rewards a careful mower. Brown Woods & Associates Inc. keeps lawns on that rhythm — mowing, trimming, edging along the walks, and hauling off what gets cut so a yard looks finished rather than merely mowed. Champaign's dark ground grows turf the way it grows everything else, fast and thick, which means the schedule matters as much as the blade does. Spring cleanup opens the season and the autumn pass closes it, leaf by leaf. In between there is the plain good sight of a straight edge along a sidewalk on a July evening.
