About All Creation Landscapes

Four in the morning on Curtis Road, and the only light for a mile is a pair of headlights swinging into a driveway. Champaign sits on ground so level that a January wind can carry a whole field's worth of snow across a county road and lay it down like a new hill, and someone has to move it back. All Creation Landscapes runs snow removal here — driveways, walkways and lots opened up while the sky is still the color of slate. There is real satisfaction in the last pass, when the concrete shows dark and clean and the salt goes down ahead of the refreeze. By the time the shops on Neil Street unlock their doors, the day has already been made possible.
