About S & S Landscaping

Cerro Gordo is a few shaded streets set into Piatt County grain country, the elevator standing over town and the Sangamon winding through the fields to the north. S & S Landscaping mows here through the long green middle of the year, taking each yard on its regular week so the growth never gets away from anybody. Trimming tightens the lines along foundations, fences and the alley edge, and the walks and drives are blown off so the finish reads clean from the sidewalk. In spring the winter's mess comes off the turf first, and in fall the leaves are gone before a soaking rain can press them flat. Between a small town and wide field country, a kept yard is the part of the view somebody actually made.
