About Maulding Excavating LLC

Out on the section roads around Casey there is nothing to stop the wind, so snow rarely stays where it lands. It travels — combing off the stubble fields and packing into long drifts across a farm lane, filling a driveway back in an hour after it was opened. Clearing it here means pushing the snow well back from the edges and giving the next blow somewhere to go, then salting the tight spots where a truck has to swing around. It is heavy work on wide ground, and there is real pride in a lane that runs open and clean from the blacktop all the way up to the house. Some mornings that lane is the only line drawn on a white field.
