Lowe Landscaping and Excavating

About Lowe Landscaping and Excavating

February around Cartwright likes to melt at noon and freeze again by dark, and a quarter-mile farm lane keeps the record of both. Lowe Landscaping and Excavating runs those long lanes the way they need running, pushed wide and scraped close, the ruts taken out before they set up hard for another week. Drives and lots are opened for whoever has to be somewhere at six, and the walks are cleared and treated while the plow is still ticking as it cools. There is a particular pleasure in the last look back down a lane you have just made straight again, snow banked evenly on both sides. Out here an open road is not a convenience; it is the whole day.
