About JW Lawn Services

Southern Illinois keeps two very different tempers, and the work follows both. Through the warm months it is grass — cutting, trimming and edging, holding yards along the Route 13 corridor even from the first green all the way through the long October drop of oak and hickory leaves. Then a storm rides up from the southwest, and what falls here is often half ice, the kind that glazes a driveway and makes a short slope a genuine problem. On goes the plow, up comes the spreader, and drives and walks around Carterville get opened and treated while the trees are still creaking overhead. Two seasons, two sets of tools, one town.
