About RJK Barone Lawn & Landscaping

West of the river the streets wander through oak woods that once framed a racetrack, and the snow gathered up in those branches comes down in slow heavy loads long after the sky has cleared. Late afternoon is the blue hour out that way, everything the color of a shadow on a drift, and it is a good time to make a last pass — plowing the aprons back, opening the turnarounds, salting the shaded stretch of walk that never sees the sun in December. Long driveways ask for a plan: where the piles go now so there is still somewhere to put February. That is the part nobody watches and everybody feels. By dark the way in and the way out are both open.
